answer is : 5

95% of normally distributed population falls between -/+ 1.96 S.D. from mean

2.5% of population will have IQ above 2 SD or more above mean
2.5% ....................................2 SD below the mean

2.5% of 200 people= 5

 this is the answer but i didn't and i think i can never understand this stupid SD problems...i really need to work hard on biostatistics .

good q asmi...we have to remember the values of std curve on one side alone too.. sad

In playing with numbers this q may have been easier just using the #100 people, then doubling one side of the mean past approximately 95%.

aquestion is about people who are above two SDs.so as every one know 95 % fall with in two +/- SDs and 5% out side that is 2.5 %C on posiitive side and 2.5% on negative side.so if they are sking above mean it means towards positive side so for 200 people it would be 5 (2.5 +2.5)
