I suspect that the majority of people in the field of plastic surgery are not really interested in medicine but merely in it for the lifestyle that it provides, when considering the smaller percentage of physician scientists in the field compare to other fields. What I don’t understand is why would they inter medicine in the first place when there are other professions that are almost purely about cashing in money.
