Hi every1!!
congrats to all of you...I got an active day with all sorts of experiences,,,
good news= interview invitation from BRONX LEBANON (IM)
bad news= rejection from YALE (psychiatry)
neutral= an email from Penn State/Milton S. Hershey Medical Centre sayin that my application is "on hold"...but I believe the following email that they sent me was just a subtle way of sayin that my application was rejected!!
"We received your application through ERAS for a psychiatry residency position at our institution. At this time your application is on hold. If your status changes, we will in touch.
Please remember that due to the large volume of applications we receive, many qualified candidates must be turned away. Good luck in finding a residency. "

Congrats maude, kingsofke and ujaala and, priya over your first interview: (where is it though?)
sarika with 4 interviews this early you will do great in the coming few weeks. i too was having a long silent spell which was broken by SUNY syracuse, Heard its a pretty decent program??Considering my seriously nubile CV i am not sure why exactly they sent me an email..but happy nonetheless.

Hey guys, good luck to those waiting for IVs and congs to those who have already received IVs.
Got an IV in Lansing (Michigan state Univers. FM) and hurried to fixed and interview date for early nov. Rejection from Guthrie PA, on hold for 1 prog. I am keeping hopes high, do the same friends.
Any one knows about this prog or has got IV from the same place?please share.
Metropolitan IM (manhattan) sponsors only J1 visas, expences handled by candidate, once in, no transfer is accepted, I know this from a very reliable source.

Tulsa, OK (Family Medicine)
Rejections:
University of Massachusetts, Worcester (Family Medicine)
Stamford Hospital/Columbia University (Family Medicine)

I see fresh graduate with great scores and USCE get rejections!!! What is going on behind the closed doors of the programs?!?

mph, I wonder how you ended up with 3 rejections....you should have been offered a prematch from them too.
Btw I was going through your credentials...how did you manage to do a residency in home country after graduating in 2004 and as well as do an MPH and an array of research...just curious!!
Wow one needs to be really accomplished, to be able to manage it all in less than 3 yrs span
