hello, i need your input on this.
I have two IV's in IM but strange thing is i searched these forums and no one else claimed to have been invited to these places. I havent posted the names of these programs and i think if someone else has been invited to these two hospitals, they are also playing it safe. Another funny thing is i did not get IVs from places who are sending it to everyone. I am so confused as what is the REAL criteria of these programs. I am seeing people with better, worse and similar credentials as mine getting IVs from Kingsbrook, st barnabas, seton hall, crozer chester, suny upstate im but i did not get calls from these although i applied sept 1st too. I did not get their rejections either.
So i dont know...this match is becoming a mystery! I know people on this forum are very nice and you guys dont like negativity here but sometimes i just can't help but being my-psychotic-mean-self. I am very confused these days why these places called others but not me?
My credentials: scores mid 90's ECFMG certified all first attempts, Us citizen, yr grad 2002, no research, 3 months USCE with 2 physicians 2 uslor, 1 month observership at a community teaching hospital.

I didn't get any IV's so far....I was wondering if at all something pops up, Should I check my e-mail or ERAS or mail box regularly?

Hi Just do it. I am an old IMG, graduate 1997, phD 2002, postdoc till now, no USCE, 95/99/cs pass/95, GC. My friend is even older. 80s in USMLE and failed step-3. So it seems to me Kingsbrook does not have a very high standard.

finally its time for me to write about my IVs!
i got 2 IVs..first from henry ford in psych (got that on 7th sep) but couldnt schedule it till today..
2nd from seton hall in IM
but those 2 came in the very start and after that , no new msgs in my ERAS
