First of all, I would thank God,my family,my bf,and this website from which I gained a lot of advices and support. It took me 5 month with average 3hrs/day.I am in the last year and must spend nearly 12hrs in the hospital:from 8am to 7pm.So I must cover the time defect by the last month during which I studied nearly 14 hrs/day. I just wanna say that be concentrated on your prep specially the last month, be mentally healthy during the exam,do not be shaken by the one you already lost. You will do better. And you will be just OK even you are too nervous to have a good sleep.I did not feel well the night before and was too tired and nervous and excited(have no idea why) to sleep.I just slept for 3 hrs.But I did not make it an excuse,or overthink about my insomia.I just forgot that I lack sleeping and everything went well.Actually I was exhausted during the last block and barely had just enough time. People say NBME is a good predictor.Maybe it is right for some, but I think just try to learn from your mistake and forget that fake score.Actually,I got 470 in NBME3 just 3 wks before the fight. So freak out ,but try to push my butt to work much harder.Still remember the last 2 wks just read FA like 3 times, and try to correlate all facts together...Like I have my own systemic FA in my brain...It helps me a lot.So just do not worry too much.Accept the fact that I can not know everything, but I will try to be as precise as possible to avoid stupid mistakes.Even though I made many stupid mistake,at least 5.... SO JUST STICK TO YOUR PLAN and BE CONCENTRATED I am willing to answer all question if you guys have. just feel happy and happy

Forevergood, reading your EE was like reading my own! I also did Step 1 on 3 hours sleep, although I only felt it during the first block. And like you, I forgot about that during the rest of the day. My NBME 3 score was only 460, and like you, tried my hardest to boost up my skills. I also made mistakes, and they are getting the best of me these days as I wait for scores. But I am glad to see that someone with a similar experience got rewarded with strong marks Best wishes to you!

forevergood and edie, that sounds a lot like my experience, though I had 5 hours of sleep I guess. I'm still waiting on my scores too (hopefully in 1 week I'll know) and still wake up in the middle of the night or have daytime flashbacks of questions I did wrong, it's exhausting, but hopefully we'll all be fine!!! Maryam.
