i tink they have selected whom to interview in Drexel for neurology...i mean 40 people..ONE MY FRIENDS IS DOING HIS TRANSITIONAL YEAR AT KALAMAZO MEDICAL CENTRE...SO HE GOT AN INTERVIEW THERE...SO MAY BE DOORS FOR DREXEL R CLOSED...

i also got the same interveiw. how do you rate this program. how many do they call for interview n when are you planning to arrange your iv.

Hi they just send me interview dates that were 4,11 and 18 oct. I am booked for 18th. I think its a good program around 3.5/5 but they give J1 only and i would be preferring H1.

Thanks. you can find my credential in the credentials thread here in neurology forum and in match support forum. I havent done prelim but have applied for prelim now with the neuro programs.

,m krishna an iternational med gradute from india.i want to apply for neurology next year badly.i dont have publications.i did rotations on adult neurology for 2 months at v.a medical centre,2 months in michigan childrens hospital in peads neurology,clinical research and externship from past 6 months in the outpatient department of detroit medical centre,basic science research on cortical pericytes as a research technician,will be graduating in masters of exercise physiology at eastern michigan university...i dint do any prelim year but i want to apply for both prelim and advanced...i dont have great scores..i have 86 and 91 in step 1 n 2...cs cleared but have to give step 3 shortly..ischaitu1981@gmail.com...please give me any suggestions..wat r my chances...i have 4 u.s lo.rs...I DONT THINK CREDENTIALS R IMP...WAT MATTERS R SCORES ONLY...WITH THESE CREDENTIALS I,M NOT GETTING A SINGLE INTERVIEW..I,M GETTING ONLY REJECTIONS...

Hi! I didn't notice this thread was ongoing! hooray! this is a really excellent idea...congratulations Doc Holliday--may I ask how you received the invite from Peoria? That's one of my dream programs only because of personal reasons.
So far zero interviews...
At least in this thread I feel "normal" ...
I really hope the interviews come in...

i got rejections from umich and umaryland so i applied to these programs ... locking away my credit card so i dont do it again

doc holiday,
do you have any idea, what percentage of IMGs who applied for neuro got into neuro programs.
also, i am a bit confused, i have a feeling that there were only 70 odd neuro programs last year compared to 122 this year. any explanation. did many programs go unmatched last year. i am not sure about the competitiveness of nuero programs. things sound a bit dodgy.
