hi there,
i would like to sit for the usmle 1 and i would like to know which edition of the kaplan lecture notes is better the 4 books set or the 7 books set ?
also i need your advice regarding all the materials which can prepare me very well to get the 99 inshallah ?
your help is much appreciated

Everyone study 7 books plus Q book , total in 8 books with dvd .
Read the ppl journal at the start & exm experinces , resources too to choose the books you like .
If u are student or AMS , usually not using kaplan much even IMG or IMS some do not use kaplan, but most of ppl use kaplan 8 books, me too . Also Golj materials .
Then some add on extra book , some do not depends on your understanding of the subj , system . Some even get to big text like Robin patho etc, some read HY or BRS or other reviews , or short books. You can find all in the journal, exm experinces , resources .
Same in Qs & FA usage , everyone has different style of favorite one , study style. So read 99er one & choose books, Qs, review, summary book that suite you .
So start at resources, exm experinces & journal. Also have own journal to keep track, plan, books etc to use. Then advice , guide will pour in .
