trisomy 21 normal karyotype positive test 100 ; 50 negative test 100 ; 250 the test is administered to a group of 500 women considered to be at risk for a down's fetus .What is the sensitivity of this test ?

if i understand the data given correctly it is 50%

hi asmi.. the problem with me is i type slowly..so i hardly type explanations...also ..when i see a question where the discussion is not started(freshq)..i type only ans..sure i will try to put explanations here after.... here , 100 true + 100 false - sensitivity = TP/TP+FN
