hey there. I will probably rule in the rejections. Applied to 47 FM. Since we all are sharing the rejections. here are mine: 1Scottsdale AZ, 2Samaritan AZ 3Lexington KY, 4Hazard KY, 5St Anthony CO, 6Clearwater FL, 7Mayo MN, 8Mankato MN, 9Missouri-COlumbia MO, 10WakeForest NC, 11UNM Albuquerue NM, 12Casacade East OR, 13Swedish WA, 14Columbia-St Mary WI, 15 MMC Maine. I just notice that my transcript isnt in ERAS> Does anybody know why ECFMG doesnt send it automatically? Shit... i just saw it today and dont know what i need to do since i am not in the US. Credentials: 79(3)/83(1)/CS pass(1)/3 US LOR/3 publications/med electives in FM/working at the US embassy as Health Practitioner Fairfax Family Practice issue: i have been doing my electives there and they DO NOT sponsor visa. It is mentioned on their website. No exceptions. Guys, there is nothing wrong with your appl, they just cant provide you with visa support.. even for J1. Good luck to all. WOuld appreciate your advises on the transcript issue

hey elektra its indeed difficult and trying time.....even my mailbox is so silent and whenever there is a mail its of rejection only. We just want to hold on, I think till the end of the season. dont know when that single invite come in. I dont know where I went wrong.Maybe my score is the real culprit here....

I dont think its score..people with low scores are getting interviews. In my case i think its the year of graduation (7yr). becoz my friend who is a recent graduate and has similar scores as i have got 18 interviews! Im getting ready for scramble now.

i have applied to about 40 fp programs and just 3 have responded and that too with rejections. I think elektra is right on the score issue, thats not a concern in family practise, I think you have to have something in your CV that really personifies your interest in the field. Also date of grad is also an imp factor, i'm an old img too(9yrs),with 91/99. I have heard that family practise progs usually are very sceptical about your genuiness to take up family practise and they dont want to be stepping stones to other pursuits.
