I feel kind of lost now. I am an old grad (1997) with masters in tropical medicne and MPH and work experience with UN. S1 95(1st att), S2 96(1st att), awaiting CS (Oct10) No S3, No USCE, No USLOR. research exp during my masters. No publications. Have got only 1 IM prelim IV. 1 FM rejection so far. Will apply for some more after my CS results are out. (to those prog. which require ECFMG certificate)
Feeling very low as it is October already. Any suggestions or comments????

I too have no interviews till today. All i have rejections from various places :-
Uni of Missouri(Columbia)
Jamaica Hosp.(jamaica)
St mary & elizabeth Med center(Chicago)
I too am having the nagging feeling tht Im all ready out of this match.Its such a distressing experience...Hope Heavens shower some blessings

i know....its too depressing...me too no interview yet , only rejections. october is killing me. if i dont get anything this month chances are less of getting any iv in following months.

so finally Creighton University also sent in their rejection letter....and one more college is marked out of the list.
I checked it just after my CS result came out and i passed it.
What is hapening here?
I agree with you elektra, if no iv in this month then its over for me too.

the same story is happening here too. Im seeing people with less marks getting ivs from places where I have also applied since september.I dont know how the programs are selecting people for ivs? and the only thing which is filling my mailbox is rejections......Indiana University sent their sweet rejection today.

one of my friends applied to more than 100 programs in jan of this year ... got one interview and is now PGY-1 at methodist NY in IM .. not impossible .. hang in there

I dont know doc holliday & elektra
but the going is getting tough and this wait is killing me and Im getting old due to worry
even that 1 iv is elluding me so far....today the MSPE will open up. Lets see whether it brings any good things with it.Good Luck
