The solution provided is Back- end survival.

Does anyone know what this means. My source is BS KLN. Thanks.

when you track survival years for a certain disease (let's take breast cancer), looking at a bunch of patients their time from diagnosis to death can range from 1 year to 10 years, but it doesn't mean that average is 5 years, because if you look back at those patients you might find out that the one who was diagnosed with BC was @ sate IV with Ms all over her body, and the one who lived 10 years was diagnosed with T1N0M0 ---> it doesn;t mean that latest patient lives longer, it means she was diagnosed earlier --> adjust survival rate accordingly by evaluating severity of diseas at the time of diagnosis
