hello meg . i have been reading your posts and you are truely a great inspiration to everyone ...the effort u make to help others is so amazing . and many i am sure owe their sucess to u .. well i wanted to ask u that my exam is scheduled on the 31 of march .. and that also happenes to be the LAST date of the 3 months period u get to schedule.. well is it ok if i take it on the last date?? !!! i mean usmle has approved this date when i asked them and also gave me a confirmation .. but what if somthing goes wrong ?? i mean suppose any glitch in the system in the center .or the exam is cancelled? so do i lose money . ?. or its their responsibillity? i know the chances of such things happening are rare . but i was just wonderring will they give me a new date even after the last date !!! i mean its not my fault right ???.. their system went down .. so will i suffer ??? just asking .. i konw its souds stupid question .. thanks anyway

I am not sure about the technicalities about whether they refund money, but I remember a friend mentioning that she had paid some additional money to extend the eligibility period. I think it must be there in the usmle step 1 or ecfmg online bulletins.
But why worry and be anxious about something that is not in your control? this is the time to be joyful and keep a positive attitude, esp as you near the exam. The more you are at calm, the more you will do better. When I go through situations when things work out in a way opposite of what I would have liked, I remind myself of God's sovereignity and believe with all my heart that God is able to work this out for my good. So there is no need to worry.
