hello jef_anj07. credentials are already posted on this thread. i'm a citizen so visa is not an issue. still waiting...it's been a while since my last iv call. keeping those fingers crossed. gl.

hey! thats really nice..u dnt have visa issues..I am telling u, this visa stuff is a killer..lots of trouble. Have to go back home every 6 mo..anyways, thats how things are for all foreign grads. Do you live in philly..we can talk sometime and prepare for the interviews..are u still attached to some hospital, doing some work/research..I am usually free on weekends/late in evening..Can we work together for a while for interview preparation!! looking forward to ur reply..

I am so happy. I got 3 IV in OBG. I am an IMG with low scores. 1.- Reading Hospital (community program in Pennsylvania) 2.- Crozer-Chester (community program in Pennsylvania) 3.- CREIGHTON UNIVERSITY (in Nebraska)

Hey eaguin! Congrats on your interview at Nevada. Didnt apply to there because my family is here in the East Coast but I hear that it is a good program. They have 3 positions that go to the match each year and they do acccept FMGs. From their stats, you get get to do more OB cases rather than Gyne, but I can go either way as long as I get into the specialty. Good luck!!

Hey drana! Am sure this week will bring better news! I also applied in the East Coast and so far, I just got 1 positive reply from a hospital in New York (Yey, Maimonides), 2 rejs (Buffalo and Reading) and all the others are silent. Two of my interviews are from programs in Michigan but they are more IMG friendly there. The AMGs are having a better run with the interviews, I think but like you see in the past year's thread, we just need that one special interview. So let's just keep our heads above water in the meantime.

Dear anmelie... Sure enough this weeks is better a LOT better... I got my first invitation tooday! yeeeees from flushing hospital... very relieving you may imagine how afraid I was... thanks be to God I got this one.. you are right we don't need a lot we only need that special one keep me posted
