well, here i go.... IMG grad 2000 Step 1=241/99 Step 2=242/99 CS pending 1 LOR some observership in private practice (some time ago) not in hospital settings no research, no publications applying in 3 directions programs don't like grads lke me (and no CS results yet), so we will have to see what happens good luck to everyone

2002 graduate from China 95(236)/97(240)/pass/92(222), ECFMG certified 5 LoRs-2 from China(strong), 2 from US(so so letters), 1 California letter 2.5 months observership (where the 2 LoRs came from) EAD card or hopefully Green Card by next June My problem: 3 years of gap from my graduate study (2002-2004); Apply to Pedi, IM, FM, Pedi/IM, 146 in total. Dream to stay in California, but will be pleased if may get matched anywhere

2001 grad, IMG, Green Card step1- 90 step2- 94 CS- Passed ECFMG certified 3 Lor's from college professors and head of dept from home country 2 lor's from home country for work exp for 2yrs 1 US Lor - observership 2mths at a pvt clinic Applied to 80 programs - 45 IM, 25 FM, 10 Peds Praying to God and hope things go well.....

thank you, faraym, but i am an old grad, with huge gap in between (graduated in 2000, came to the US in 2001, no USCE as they want it), so... score matters, but only so much also, if i failed in CS it will throw me back even further. keep my fingers crossed

IMG from Iran 2004 step 1 97 step 2cs passed step 2 ck will take in 10 days greencard holder 4 LOR ,only one from US professor no observership,no US clinical experience applied to 60 IM and 19 psychiatry programs,only at east coast good luck to all of you

IMG,graduated in 2006. S1:240/97 S2:242/98 ecfmg certified S3:200/82 observership in pvt clinics research in univ hosptl 3 US LORs applying to 50 IM programs...keeping fingers crossed!!! good luck to allll....

IMG graduated in 2000 s1:221/92 s2:233/96 ecfmg certified s3 applied for to apeear in october Mrcpsych from uk 4 yrs clinical experience in psychiatry in United kingdom 3 good lors from UK consultants applying for only psych need a j1 or hi applied to 30 programs to date may apply for 30 more

2004 grad 80/81/pass no step3 US citizen 2 years volunteer work at a free clinic 2 months IM observership at a university program 6 weeks Neuro at a good university primate research in neuro at a good hospital since jan of this year .. still going movement disorders clinic since july of this year applied to 49 neuro, 40 IM, 14 transitional and 8 FM Good luck to all ....

4th year med school, caribbean, graduating december. US citizen, passed all exams first attempt, step 1, 88/218, step 2ck, 193/79, step 2cs, Pass 3 great LORs, US docs, 8 months of US clinical experience, applying IM, 40 programs, may add a few more here. Dropped some more competitive IM programs when I saw my CK spanish speaker

Step 1 86 step 2 83 all first attempt. step 2 cs result in one month.......wish me good luck!! 3 lor's from back home.Need H1 b visa. Will giv step 3 in nov Currently doing observership at a clinic to get us LOR. Plan to do start some research also so i have something to compensate for my scores. Plan to apply to IM but I haven't as yet as waiting to get a us LOR and then begin research.should i apply right now or can i afford to wait 1-2 weeks?? Pls help

count me in too guys....! WANTED: ideally, university - based H1b program in Pediatrics...! in the South (can't stand the cold, you see...!) My...! Am i greedy...!! IMG, India... May, 2002 Graduate. 3 yrs of formal Pediatric Residency Training in India step 1 99/247 step 2 CK 98/236 NO USCE whatsoever, and of course no US LORs as well, till now...! One minor publication, and my thesis in pediatrics as publication/scientific work Bottomline: I'm not very hopeful, but i have come so far in 5 months of prep, let me see if i can secure that observership...!
