Hi

i have only step 1 score and passed Step 2 CS. I am IMG can I apply for surgery without ECFMG certificate?

What is lates date I should have Step 2 CK score?

well there are some programs, which at minimum asks for step1 scores, however they are very few.... better email the programs regarding this

mostly programs ask IMGs to be ECFMG certified.
Better email or call programs and ask them.

yeah its better to ask them for sure, but i do know ppl who have got in with just step 1 score...apply early..

oh by the way, dat applies to prelim surgery...categorical surgery..i dont haveany idea.

if you get certfied by mid-october, you may be safe.. because that is when most programs consider applications and send out rejections.. however.. the earlier the better smiling face
