hi, i am wondering if i need mention the failed exam on CAF, the cover sheet of ERAS application. i know, the program will receive the ECFMG transcript eventually, but, put a failed exam on CAF is really embrassing. so, my question is, can i just not mention it and if this may cause any concern of my integrity? thanx a lot! Thanx a lot to BBB or anybody helping me!

If you are gonna play with data now, you will face lots of troubles in future... Be honest... It will be easier to explain why you failed but you will never successfully explain why you hided your personal data... And, remember of NMBE policy: your right to apply for any type of medical practice may be banned FOREVER

Be honest , the fisrt thing program will see is your score .So they know it before you know .Failing is not a crime, things happen and it is nothing you should be ashamed about. So just be yourself and be confident ,you worked hard to get here and you deserve the best .... wish you best at your interviews

Man, if you once failed the exam but then re-took it and now have all of the cleared, you do not need to mention about this... ECFMG will take its responsibility to inform the programs about your journey... But, if you failed the exam and did not re-take it yet, there is a place in the application part of the MyERAS account that asks about the exams, and there are several options given... You of course choose that you passed the exam...
