Hi friends--Can you let me know your opinion --

One of my friends told me that we should appl to atleast one program today or tomorrow so that LOR's are scanned soon----Is it so? I am planning to apply on the 4th----Should I have to apply to one program today?

It may look dumb but pls help me out!

He´s right, you can speed the scanning process by applying to at least 1 program..., so that when you apply to others your LORs are already scanned...

Not entirely true...this is from ERAS

"Each time you apply to new programs the NBME/ECFMG has to process a new request for your Documents. You should allow 3-5 days for this to be completed."

I have just submitted my CAF then applied to 1 program only to see how my application is processed.

Because my document package is not scanned so I am not comfortable to apply to all selected programs.

Will apply to all selected programs when my package is scanned.

Good luck.

It may take up to 2 - 3 days to upload your documents. But once they have been uploaded by applying to at least one program they usually transmit your LOR's within some minutes because they are already uploaded.

It says 2 - 3 days to upload, but usually is within 24 hours. They may take longer to upload right now because it is weekend and monday is holliday.
