When you start residency, do u have to apply for temp state licensure in that state? Is that the same as applying for state licensure when you are done with residency? If I have taken more than 7yrs to pass all usmle steps, can I only apply to residency programs that have unlimited years? Or can i apply to residency programs in all states, and when I am done, have to work in the states that i meet requriments. its very confusing, any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
