Did u take an exam or write a thesis! Something must have clicked somewhere and u must have done great that's y u cud write the above! Am certain of that! But know something was better off without "the  factor!"

what a shocker of a title!! i nearly fell off my chair!!!
gosh, nnl, kindly change the title. you haven't lost a thing so far. and you don't know anything for sure. yet you make it sound so final.
after every practice test that i take, i realize that so many ans i was sure of turned out completely wrong, and many questions i had no clue of turned out to be correct! i'm pretty sure that you're underestimating your performance, coz i do exactly the same. actually, i manage to convince myself quite fully that i've flunked, so no one can manage to change my nind. so i know that no post here can make you feel otherwise. only the result in your hand has the power to do that.
so please take off on a much-needed break, then go visit the 2ck forum [if you aren't done with it yet] of course keep coming back, but rest assured that your step 1 tryst is truly over!!

Agree with Paheli. I am shocked and scared   , although I believe that you didn't mean to scare us.
You have worked hard and I am sure it would be rewarded.

wow! now i'm thinking did i read my questions correctly....i guess a lot depends on luck..wht sort of exam u get ...there is nothing u can do abt that....but i'm sure abt one thing that u've prepared long and hard for this exam and hard work always pays...i guess we'll recieve our scores around the same time...and i want u to know that i'm rooting for u so hang in there!

upon reading your exam experience..i got to wonder even more about nbme's predictive power....
when real thing is that evil, how could a test relatively simple and easy like nbme be a good predictor?
this is a mystery that makes me nauseated...
envy you nnl that you're done with this monster anyway
you maybe had a bad luck on your exam questions...but good luck on your score!

NNL..thanks a lot for the post...i am sure ur hard work will pay off...have faith in god...and keep praying...actually ur post scared me alot..i read ur post twice...n believe me i haven't read anything since 3hrs....i know u din't mean to scare us n it was ur honest opinion..now i am more cautious while preparing...good luck for ur scores

ok, did anybody else notice the similarities of gogeta's pre-result jitters and nnl's post-exam reaction? they must be cosmically connected or something!! [long lost bros and all that.....!!!]

thanx alot 4 the detailed experience ,,,,seems like no other i have read or heared about
i knew that u will post detailed experience & i was waiting 4 that,,,
take a break 4 a wk ,,,u deserve some rest ,,,u studied alot & done everything possible 4 this test so dont worry about the rest u will pass, u will get the score u r aiming 4 ,,no 1 loss the battle unless u dont succeed in the match then u loss the battle but until then keep enthusiastic
u made me think about my studying strategy ...iam putting less emphasis on subjects like histo/cell bio so i think i am gonna take more time on this
GL on score, keepm u r spirit up, check on this forum once in a while

NNL, calm down .. u never know how u did .. it's a normal feeling that ur having (post-USMLE syndrome )
we'll pray that u get a good score .. there is nothing u can do now .. so forget about it ..pray to god and wait and see

Who do you think youre talking to over here?!
NNL is no ordinary guy. He isnt one of those "pass guys". And he doesnt need all of these repeated dull words of encouragement that we read on every single exam experience. Please, think a little longer before you post your sympathy.
Whats my EXPECTATION for NNLs score? Ans: 95 or higher. ( of course i WISH him a 99 )
NNL's prep. was BIG TIME especialy after the prolonged sickining delays. As dear Paheli said ( im rephrasing over here - cuz she is more polite than i am), sure, the title %$#@ the %$#@ out of me. Yup bro, you almost got tears into my eyes. But im telling my self to forget it cuz i realy believe in you, i really believe that youll do great.
NNL, if all these guys with crappy preparations did it, you sure will do it. But there is only one thing that worries me about your preformance. That is what you already mentioned in other threads that you over look the Qs. If ( by Gods grace i hope not ), if you did over look so many of the Qs and over estimated the Qs, you may probably not get the score that all of us over here are wishing you but what the %$#@, since when did grades, two small numbers and dumb exams really or perfectly show how good we are ( man you are superior for this step1 childish stuff ).
A word for me and those who still didnt take the exam:
If by any means NNL doesnt do very well, that should realy ^%$# the ^$$# out of us BIG TIME. Personaly, i dont think that ill ever get as well prepared or "self educated" as NNL.
Conclusion, either:
1- NNL gets 95+ score and we all "live happy ever after" or
2- NNL doesnt do very well ( dont even give a ^%$#, cuz bro you already know what you need to know so relax drink an iced tea and move on with your life ) but in this case me and the other normal and below normal guys should either recosider the whole pattern in which we think, read and study or we are really in deep %$#@.
Sorry guys for my bad language today but the thread hit me hard.
