Punch vs Conization When do we use Punch, is it the same as taking ECC or Ectocervical Biopsy during Colposcopy ??? Is Conization a surgical procedure & done via general anasthetic (i.e. Pt is not aware)???

I'd say "yes" to both of your questions...

Yes, punch biopsy is colposcopycally guided. It's an ectocervical biopsy using a small biopsy forceps. Endocervical biopsy is a curretage, done with a curette. According to Uptodate, conization is done as an outpatient procedure with regional or general anesthesia, although the type of anesthesia seems to depend more on the method used (i.e LEEP vs cold-knife, etc)
