Hi Guys,
I took CK on 1 Aug--->Score not reported yet---->called ecfmg---->got a reply that they have sent a letter to my medical school to verify my student status at the time of applying. and result will be reported only after verification----->i asked why------>they told its normal
really confused....
I applied as a student and took the exam as a graduate...and infored ECFMG about change in status before sitting for the exam.
has anybody experienced a similar thing
Does anybody know why r they reverifying my student status

Hi Maninder,
I'm sorry about the score report delay. Did you make sure w/ ECFMG that they have your diploma on file? My situation is the same as yours, and after I told them I'd like to inform them of my graduate status at the time of the exam, they said they already have my diploma on file, and there's no verification needed.
Hope you'll get your score soon. I just took my exam a few days back so I'm not sure when my score will be reported.

Hi tweetie,....i informed them well before the exam,.....i even told them that my diploma will be issued after 7-8 months by the university.....at that time ECFMG rep told me that no problem, go ahead with ur exam and send us 2 copies of ur diploma whenever u recieve it.....
imagine i appeared on 1st aug,...and now people who appeared on 10th aug have started recieving their scrore reports
so why do they need a verification now????? as i havent sent any copy of my diploma to them.,....

send them the provisional diploma( which u can get it made from the college verifying that u r med school student and will get diploma on which date...)
this will help i guess
