I think it is (E) Living independently A better prognosis is associated with good premorbid adjustment, marriage, florid symptoms of acute onset, fewer and briefer episodes, supportive home and community environment, continued medication, and the female sex.

Answer (E) living independently. Agree w/ Ivonne I think gradual onset of symptoms without precipitating factors is actually a bad prognostic factor.

I think its D, Late onset of Symptoms. Its given in the book of behavioural sciences on pg 145 in the chapter DSM IV in the schizophrenia section under the heading "Predictors of good prognosis".
