Dear All since most of my job experiences are in the field of AIDS and TB, Blood born Hepatitis as a general practitioner, do you think that it may lower my chances to get into IM and/or Transitional year? thanks

Absolutely not. Infectious diseases is a subspecialty of IM, so it could never hurt your chances. In order to pursue ID as a fellowship later on, you must have finished IM first.
