i was also inclined towards C .... but swelling below knee with pain doesnt look like lympathics ... so it can b A or B compartment syndrome ..... pain due to passive movements which is not mentioned .... just progressive severe pain .. with swelllinf .... so can b arterial embolism

not sure though ....

i think femoral vein thrombosis.....would compartment syndrome give "swelling" below knee? even arterial emboli doesnt....

b...as pain shows arterial insufficiency while swelling show venous insufficiency.,both possible in compartment syndrome
