Why if the promoter region of a gene is in the 5´ end, the transcription goes from the 3´ end to the 5´ end direction?

Remember that any polymerization of nucleic acids occurs in a 5' to 3' direction. The promotor is on the 5' region of the gene of the coding strand of DNA, therefore it's compliment would be on the template strand, and THATS what RNA Poly reads, it will read from 3' to 5', yet add from 5' to 3'. With this said, the promotor of the gene in question is on the 5' end of the coding strand, and esentially the 3' end of the template strand has the capabilities of providing information about the coding strand

alwayz remember RNA polymerase transcribes the template strand in 3' to 5' direction resulting in the formation of mRNA which is in the direction of 5' to 3'.......
