hey friends
i have passed my step 1 and cs and ck
but due to the lethargic attitude of my med school
ecfmg does not have my transcript..
so despite having alll scores im not certified
can all the experts tell me how does it hamper the interview calls
because i have seen many programs saying that we dont invite till we
have the certificate???????
so i need urgent advise
help out guys
p.s bbb i also mailed you, if u cant reply to that, which is understandable seeing your busy schedule
but aline or two from you will help many like me

Listen, I'm in the exact same situation. I have all the criteria filled out but since I just graduated (this august) my medical diplomma is in process, supposelly I will get it any moment now but I will be certified until november or so. I made my research by mailing the programs I liked and most of them said that it was better for me to apply early w/o my certificate rather then wait for it and apply late. And most of them told me that as long as you have it in february or some even for match day you'll do fine. Very rarely they told me that I need it for initial application so I would recommend to send your stuff soon and don't wait for your certificate unless you have a strong reason to believe that you might get your certificate in the first 2 weeks of september or even at the end of it. GL with it and hope you get it soon!!!
