I got 2 letters from a single person (one for medicine, and other for a different field). Now When I want to designate respective letters to respective fields... I cant figure out how to do that... ECFMG doesnt show that it has scanned seperate letters, it just says "ERAS application packet received" I dont want Medicine programs to get a letter recommending me for a different field. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You had to take care of this before you sent everything out to ECFMG. On your LOR request form, or on the document submission form, you had to clearly indicate which letter is for which program. They will take care of the rest. But, when you create your MyERAS profile, you also assign the writer to two separate programs (lets say IM and PEDS)... For example, you say: Mr Smith-for pediatrics and Mr Smith-for IM... This is the only way they can understand what you want because they do not read you letter (they receive over a 600K per season), and match your request with their capabilities.

HEY JUSTICE, THANKS! I CALLED UP ECFMG.. AND THEY WERE QUITE HELPFUL. SHE TOLD ME THAT THEY HAVE SCANNED MY lor SEPERATELY AS MR SMITH(MEDICINE) MR SMITH(OTHER FIELD), SO I DONT HAVE TO WORRY & I CAN FREELY DESIGNATE THEM THIS WAY.. MINE EXAMPLE SHOULD BE A LESSON FOR OTHERS TO BE CAREFUL IN FUTURE!
