hi everybody,

i got my step i score last month & is not as good as i was expecting.i got 87  these days i m trying to study for my step2 exam.i want to know, what is the difference b/w residency doing in a community hospital & that in an university.because i live there on west coast & there r very less universities here & u get in to uvi only if u score very high & one thing more i m also an img & img's do not get residencies very easily & they get only a few branches like internal medicine & psychiatry not like skin & ophthalmology.so can anybody tell me that is it good to do residency in uni with not a good branch or in community hospital with a good branch.also one thing more does any work experience in us matters for getting residency if yes how can we have this experience.also tell me with this score what is chance of getting residency on east coast & what kind of branch.

thanks.
