Sometimes I am so stressful about my destiny at the end of this way, The last two days I was thinking: What happens if after all this efforts I cannot get a match? I was nervous about this in my subconsious in the last two days, and at the end, I remebered a phrase of one of the forums members ( I don't remember who), and I found it beautiful: Don't forget that this is a Marathone! Yes, it is, I feel it completely!!!

hedieh, you're not alone. i feel too, sometimes, what if all this comes to nothing? after all, there's no guarantee, more so if you're an img. the thing to do, when that thought comes to mind is quickly push it out, and think instead of how you'd handle yourself at your interviews. trust me, mental imagery works. it also helps you accomplish your dream! we will do this!!

Yes, positive thinking is the key. It is different with Marathone too. In this study process, everyday you can tell that you learn something new, you are equipping yourself with more knowledge which will benefit your future patients. It is a rewarding process every mile you run. And you can see that in every mile of your steps.

Same thing here... I don´t mean to be arrogant..., I practice long distance triathlon and ultramarathons... and these have tested every aspect of my being... This USMLE process really test your limits in every aspect..., mentally, emotionally and spiritually..., don´t get me wrong it has been a very pleasant and rewarding experince and an opportunity to discover what you got...., but there are times, crucial times when things get tough and tight and those are the times when you have to dig deep inside and push your limits..., when you ask yourself can I really do this?, and you, only you have to overcome with the answer...., YES I CAN. I haven´t reach my destination but I hope when I get there I could say, IT WAS WORTH IT EVERY SINGLE STEP
