I received a letter from ECFMG today saying the following

I'm writing to inform you of a problem that occurred in the scoring of your step2 CK USMLE examination. During a routine quality check, we discovered a minor discrepancy in the data used to score your test form. This problem resulted in your receiving a reported total test three-digit score that was on point higher than your correct score. Although the impact was minor, it is appropriate to correct the record.

And they send me another score report with my 3-digit score one point lower than my previous score report. My 2 digit score was not changed though.
I know that one point is not a big deal, but it is just so strange, my exam was in March, how could they change my score now.
I’m wondering if this happened to anyone else.

OH MY GOD!!!

I got the same letter today. That one point affected both my three digit score and my two digit score. What the hell? I am very upset. How could it take them 6 months to report the mistake?

I have lost faith in the system. Maybe I will get another letter six months from now reporting that they found another problem. It is so unfair.

UNFAIR

Contact ECFMG and ask them why it took so long to report this error to the applicants.

Good luck.

Relax guys, a score change of one point means nothing.

nod, agree with you Holyman,,,, I didn´t post that since it didn´t happen to me and maybe I would make a big deal out of itgrin and also didn´t want to sound offensive..., but I think you´re right..., though a change in 2 digit score from 85 to 84 or 90 to 89 could make a small difference when applying to programs
