i am an img req visa , my step scores r
step 1 - 89\
step 2- 93
cs---passed
all are on 1 st attempt.
what r my chances in psychiatry. i m planning to apply for psych n neurology,
i have no clinical experience in psych . where can i apply.
i have nt taken step 3 yet.

ur scores r good!! I would recommend that u take step3 by nov. & try to get some lors from US MD Psy. thats my 2 cents

Ok so your scores are pretty good but no USLOR. Well its time to apply so you should do that earliest i.e sept 1st. Apply to programs that Prefer USCE instead of Requiring it. AFter that focus on two things.
1. Observerships/ externships/ pvt physician anything that you can find.
2.Start studying for step 3 if you need H1. plan to take it by dec-jan that will help you with the H1 visa.

Pretty god for psych
Apply now for sep 1st. Are you in the US? If so, try to do an observership in psych and ger at least one LoR
My bet is that you will be fine
