A 13 yr old boy was brought to the physician by his parents b/c they are concerned abt his behaviour since startinf eight grade 5 months ago.Thy have noticed that he no longer seems interested in having dinner with the family ,spends most of the time in his room playing loud music.He quit his clarinet lesson .His grades have remained the ame,they believe his peer relationship are unchanged .He has never had problem with the law enforcement or school officials .When interviewed alone,he insists everything is fine that his parents should stop treating him like a child.Examination incuding mental status shows no abnormalities.Which of the following is the likely explanation for this patient's behaviour changes A Conduct disorder B Major depressive disorder C Oppositiona defiant disorder D Substance abuse E Age appropriate behaviour
