this question was asked to a freind in his exam .. because it's not allowed to post questions i just wanna know what u think guys .. here's how the question looked like
the question was something like while examining a 13 years old girls and her mam was waiting outside, the patient tells u ; doc , can i have contraceptives:
what would be ur best response;
tell her mam
does ur mum know
what do u know about contraceptives
the choices were something like that and the last was what he though is the best answer
my question is ; according to kaplan , one of the exceptions --> minor > 16 can get contraceptives without parents permission
WHat about 13 years old ????

what do u know about contraceptives wud be the best choice. Minor is a Minor 16 or 13 rules remain same.

i is right because in kaplan 15 to 17 answer is this but normally any age in choice we have to choose whatever we will do as a doc what you sugges we have to give information
