Hi everyone,
Please help..Due to some urgent family matter i will not be appear for my step 3 exam scheduled for mon and tues(27,28). I tried calling NBME on friday evening around 7:30p.m. as they say they are available on phone 8a.m. to 8 p.m.,but no one responded to multiple phone calls. I would like to extend my eligibility period by 90 days. But how should i go about cancelling my exam?
What if i am not able to cancel it on phone, will i still ne able to take eligibility extension? Will i lose all the exam fees? Will it show an attempt?
Please respond soon.

Go to applicant website in FSMB and extend your period.
But Go to Prometric website to cancel your scheduled exam first.
