During RNA synthesis,the DNA template sequence TAGC would be transcribed to produce which of the following sequences?
A. ATCG
B. GCTA
C. CGTA
D. AUCG
E. GCUA
The Kaplan notes say that the answer is E. I am confused with D and E.

RNA sequence is complementary and antiparallel to the template strand.
Template Sequence: 5´-TAGC-3´
RNA sequcen:..........3´-AUCG-5´ = 5´-GCUA-3´
For d to be the right answer, the DNA sequence mentioned must come from the coding strand, not template strand.
