Soon after an abdominal surgery ,one shld expect the bowel sounds to be absent, mcly due to the General anesth that was adminstered during the surgery, usually the bowel sounds return by 2nd - 3rd day Postop..so here the absent bowel sounds can be a normal phenomenon ,coz this guy just underwent a major ABDOMINAL surgery

Bun/Cr is > 12 in this pt, and we know if BUn/Cr < 20 = ATN and < 10 = post renal...ureteric injury shld be thought of if the pt had undergone abdominal surgery,ver u might accidently ligate/injure the ureter..but an important clue in the hx is the HCT levels which is really low,and the history of hypotension prior to the surgery...which is more towards Ischemic ATN and nothing else in the given choices matches the scenario, and that is why i chose A as my final answer

Can somebody explain the answer for the 3rd question in this list. I would answer it B, but not sure....

SUV. 3RD q IS PATELLOFEMORAL SYND. pain in knee or aroundworse with actuvity (step up ,down ) and long time sitting treatment is quadriceps strengthening exercise ihope help
