hi,

i know this is something that only SPs and the NBME can answer for sure, but let me point out my mistakes, and someone tell me how much of it is going to be cost me.
also, it will be a warning to other future test-takers.

1. i FORGOT to take down the NAME in one case....! stupid. i ws in such a hurry to get in that i read only the chief complaints and vitals and went in. and i couldn't find the name inside the room, anywhere. maybe i was tense trying to act like a doctor, and trying to peek at the same time, but i couldn't find it. so in that case i had to go like, hi i'm dr. xyz, your physician for the day, and go on from there.

2. i forgot to look for carotids in 2 clear-cut CVS cases. damned bad.

3. i couldn't do a full neuro exam in cases that seemed to warrant it.

4. i think i got a bit muddled with my PNs from say the 4th case. i couldn't remember correctly if it was this patient or the earlier one that had smoked, drunk, or used drugs, and things like that. so god knows if i messed up things there.

these are what i can recollect. i did all the routine things for all cases, like knocking. and almost shook hands with a case where i wasn't supposed to. but i have a question. in a case of shoulder pain on the left side, why can't you shake hands...? can anyone tell me this...?

maybe its a long post, but i hope someone throws me the ropes of hope...!
