Rarely Anywhere Else. Although I have Visited USMLE FORUM and USMLE GE sites on occasions but that like once in 2 months or so .

I went through many others. I hated the layout of most of them, especialy usmle forum, like, who would cram all step1 threads under one roof? couldnt they organize it a little better? if you post a thread today, probably tomorrow youll find it on page 17!

i agree with pretty much everything yea studentdoctor is pretty IMG unfriendly, you know there is a mentor forum there, i requested multiple times that they should start a IMG thread but it never got implimented. and when you reveal that you are IMG lots of ppl put u on a pedestal and accuse for all kind of ****. apart from the mentor forum there is just not much info to get over there, bunhc of leet immature medical and high school students. i was a regular there then a indi guy with the ned flanders avatar introduced me to this site, i settled down ever since. to those that dont know ned flanders, this is how he looks like
and usmleforum is pretty unorganized and i hated the layout

Googled several others, but not interested in their random organization. Love this forum because it is well organized and more friendly posts everywhere.

Its an On Going Battle Between IMGs and the American Students and Graduates. They think we r strealing their jobs and Dampening their demands. Which is true. We IMGs can settle down and work even if we arent shown the New Porsche 911 or BMW M5 or Merc S600 in the near future or some $150,000 + salary we r still ready to work and work very hard cos we have to survive and live and yet still send some money back home to help others in our families. We Dont DICTATE our Demands like we r Gods and simply take orders like we r supposed too. No issues on y we arent getting ur LATTES in Perfect Order as we wanted. But a simple Coffee wud do just fine. Heck half of the IMGs dont even have coffee religiously as the AMGs do.
They Want their PERKS and We , well we dont want any perks Prove ourselfs first and then we get the perks this is how we were taught back home. FIRST DESERVE THEN DESIRE.
So AMGs Vent out their anger in every way possible as they can and they have a right to do so. But i have a question for them. If they r really so Angered abt IMGs being Hired then y dont they ask the Govt to put a ban on IMG hiring. But they cant actually cos they know the Answer to tht Question. The Govt and the Hospital Admins simply reply Go Where the IMG works and Endure wht Endures and then we will stop Hiring them. 
PS AMGs plz take this lightly cos this in no way is to demean u guys Peace.

this thread is really great.
i've been at sdn - don't even go there anymore. so rude, unfriendly, condescending, offensive......nuff said.
valuemd - yep, i've visited there too. not bad. helpful people there. but i feel that they are not as warm as we are here. 
usmleforum - had never heard of them - thankfully!! - before coming across it in a thread here. never went back!!
why i love p4u over all others: it has all the info you could need. whether it's prep qns or general info about residency, exam apps, residency apps.....name it - it's here. if it's not, some lovely person will spend their limitted time to look it up for you!! nowhere else but here!! that's happened to me a couple of times, and i can't describe how nice it feels. some nameless faceless human going out of the way for you. you only know them by their avatar!! needless to say, i began doing the same for others - it's a continuous circle now.
also, at p4u, we provide a lot of social support to each other. none of us has or will have any shred of social life for the near future. but, i have so many friends here, i don't actually feel it so much any more. just that i can't go to the movies with any of you!!
so pretty much, my day isn't good if i can't start and end it with a visit here!! you should see me vent if i can't access the net!!
