because of increased RBC mass and total O2 content .

RBC are more sensitive to EPOand thus overproliferate..

What will be the clinical senario( clinical picture in a case of PCV.

it is due to feedbck inhibition from bone marrow.bone marrow is thinking it is erythropoietin which is causing increased cell count so it inhibits its poduction
