Since it is anti-estrogen, it causes Post M Symtpomsa such as vaginal dryness and hot flashed, so why is the Pt at increased risk of endometrial hyperplasia????????

Tamoxifen is selective estrogen receptor modulador(SERM) and it has agonist and antagonist effect. Tamoxifen is more agonistic in uterus than in breast so it will stimulate endometrial growth and will antagonist the breast cancer receptor.
