an middle aged man ate pork sausage during trip to south america,after 3 days started symptoms of traveler's diarrhea,then i week later started muscle pains plus periorbital edema and headache on p/e seen splinter hemmorage under finger nails,what is teh diagnosis and what is the cause 1.entameoba histolytica 2.taenia solium 3.taenia corporis 4.trichnella spiralis 5.giardrsis lamblia

ans is 4...diagnosis..trichinosis caused by eating undercooked pork ...first it involves intestines..causing nausea,heartburn ,diarrhea... later the worms encyst diff parts of the body..like CNS n heart...larvae can penetrate any cell but can survive only in skeletal ms...ms biopsy should be done

but not sure about it but viridin or strep or maybe coryn.deptheria(most likely)?but not cluster,cluster only staph...but it not in throat.... yes u both right now for listeria and T.favus next question 1.what is the only encapsulated fungal pathogen?? 2. what pathogens associated with these pigments formation-- a.red, b.black grey c.yellow d.blue green(pycyanin)

Oh yeahhhh, Diphtheria can look clumpy. Somehow when the word "cluster" shows up I get that goofy grapes image from CMMRS in my mind, thinking Staph
