secretion = what the kidney puts into the serum excretion = what gets put into urine filtration = what goes through the glomerulus clearance = fraction of the filtered and plasma concentration

Thanks, P4a99, secretion is what goes from tubular capillaries into tubular lumen, then can be reabsorbed or excreted.

(this is what I've understanded from Guyton physiology)we use this term secretion to talk about the function of the intercalated cells(brown cells) which are found in the collecting ducts(where the distal convulated tubule ends);their function is to secret H+ or bicarbonate ions inorder to maintain the acid-base balance and those ions are secreted to the the forming urine and then it might be excerted out of body or there may be reaction between h+ and bicarbonate and there is an additional reabsorption. while clearance is an inverse that equal =the removal of a substance(ex:creatinine)divided by the total body water. so clearance is removing a substance while secretion is not necesserly eliminating this substance because it's sometimes reabsorbed and as language clearance is an inverse while secretion is a process. sorry if that may be leading you to more questions but that's what I know.
