Hi, BBB, your anser for my previous Q is great, do appreciate it.
here's my dilemma, i am waiting for a LOR, the writer is a well-known person in the specialty, guess every PD should hear about her name; however, you know, such a giant is always busy but she promised to give me the letter in the middle or late September. I have good reason to believe that it is a good lor. SO, should i hold the application until i get the letter; OR, i can go ahead to send out my application, and mention to the PD that Dr. Giant's letter is coming?
Another question is, if I send a LOR to the program, which is not scanned by ECFMG yet, what the PC and PD will see? is it just a name of Dr. ABC and blank letter?

If a letter is pending through ECFMG, a program will see nothing. ___________________ bbb - trying to combine common sense and humour into realistic answers, but not going to guess on anyone's chances of getting into a position....
