hi all, i have a quick question-i was doing pathology questions from UW and i must say that i am finding them quite tough to crack...i am averaging about 45-55%. kaplan in comparison seems a little easier.
are the real exam questions more similar to UW or kaplan when it comes to pathology.i feel kaplan also seems to give a description like the questions in exam are but UW gives a lot less info sometimes only just one clue and if yu dont know that then it becomes difficult to solve the question.
so how are the real exam questions like-descriptive with more clues as in kaplan or like UW??
thanks and appreciate any replies as this is imp for me.good luck to all.

i can't answer ur question

but i can give u one advice.. concentrate on improving ur score in patho coz it's the bulk of the exam and working on it will definetly affect ur score sooo much

wether UW or kaplan were similar or not.. they give u some idea about ur level.. so improving it will improve ur exam score !

how to improve .. start by reviewing what u miss or what u get wrong and what u forget most ..review the whole topic in 1 or 2 weeks time u will see the difference . it worked 4 me

best of wishes

Cant answer very precisely as i havent given it yet but i m told that the questions r sometimes very vague and have no clues so its better to be prepared.

Am using UW, and they are very hard. Exam takers have said that real thing is best represented by UW q's, and a good number (tho not as many as I would like sticking out tongue) have said that real thing was easier than UW. I have seen a couple that said the real thing was harder shocked

Best way to approach UW early is tutor mode. Careful treatment of the explanations. Mid review or at the end do 50-question blocks in timed mode, best unused q's, to prepare for the real thing. Good luck!
