Please, I have a question for all the Match experts.
I am an IMG and I require a H1.I want to do IM.
I had 83 in step 1 and i have passed CS.(both at 1st attempt)
i am due for CK in 2 wks but i am freaking out bc I am not ready.
I want to move it by a few days which means my result may come out by 1st wk of october.If i take it as scheduled,i might have it latest by last wk of sept.
Is it going to be too late if i apply by ist wk of oct or should i apply with the ones i have on sept 1.
i am not looking for a hot shot program as i am limited by my score but will i get a decent number of interviews if i apply by 1st wk of oct.
pls don't ignore.i am ignorant. confused

Go to exam only when I feel ready. Good score at first attempt is much more impportant than early application. You also have chance for 2009. If you do badly in step CK, you will lose chance for ever.
I am not an expert in Match. But, I am waiting for my step 2 CK result now. However, when I search for program, I really find how impportant to have a decent score at first attempt. Step 2 is hard

Also agree...go until you fill ready...better then to rush things and screw it. Little late application is better then a bad application nod

Thanks guys.
U just nailed it. I didn't even consider the possibility of failing and dropping out totally or getting a ridiculously low score.
It's just that a couple of my friends have been stressing out on how late the 1st wk of october and how i am unlikely to get interviews especially as i need a H1.
i'll take my time.
