I was going through Frieda online and have difficulty understanding some terms. Could someone please comment on what these means.

1. What is considered as previous GME? Is it only for applicants for PGY 2?

2. What is night float system?

3. Under call schedule they mention "most taxing schedule and frequency per year ; Beeper or home call(weeks/year) "
I know it looks funny particularly No:3 but Being curious.wink Thanks for any input.

1. GME - Graduate Medical Education - it's after graduate training, i.e. residency.
2. It's a system where a team rounds on the services at night so that the day teams don't have over night call.
3. The most number of call and how many nights q3 - every third night you are on call....q4 - every 4th night, etc.
