Does one have to start residency within 7-year eligibility period of ECFMG?

7 yr period means ur scores r valid for 7 yrs
otherwise
f >7 yrs u have u retake all steps

thanks yoga, but i clarify my q---
if i pass all usmle steps say within 3-years, then is it possible to start residency say after 7-year ECFMG eligibility period?Does one have to start residency within 7-year eligibility period of ECFMG? or 7-year period is just for passing all usmle steps N getting ECFMG certified.

yes u have 2 take residency within 7 yrs otherwise u have 2 start from begining & take usmle again
