should examinee offer to prescribe medications for headache?

  #2

No , just tell the patient :
I know that you are in severe pain ,and i am here to help ... i will be quick in my questions and gentle in my examination...this way i would gather info regarding ur case so i can give u something to relieve your pain.

Hope this would help

dear icarus, do you know is there a Snellen chart in examination room?

  #5

V nerve - sensation on the face, examinee has to touch SP's face slightly with what? Or it has to be sharp-dull?

  #6

Snellen chart u mention it as a W/U

V Nerve exam is only for sensation per se ... no need to say if its sharp or dull ... use cotton
