No , just tell the patient : I know that you are in severe pain ,and i am here to help ... i will be quick in my questions and gentle in my examination...this way i would gather info regarding ur case so i can give u something to relieve your pain. Hope this would help

thank you for help, i just found (if you are using FA 2007) in case #18 p 220 closure examinee sayed "first thing i will do is prescribe some meds that wiill help you.." Some othe sources sayed that we a not even mention to prescribe something lil confused with that

V nerve - sensation on the face, examinee has to touch SP's face slightly with what? Or it has to be sharp-dull?

Snellen chart u mention it as a W/U V Nerve exam is only for sensation per se ... no need to say if its sharp or dull ... use cotton
