What does interferon gamma exactly do? Does it stimulate monocytes or macrophages or natural killer cells or neutrophils? I'm under the impression it's all of them since it stimulates Granulocyte-Macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor (GM-CSF).... what do you guys think?

IFN-gamma comes from your T-Cells and NK cells. Stimulates the macrophages, and also has a dampening effect on the osteoclasts. A fair step 1 question would as you about the cell signaling pathways involved with both. Do you know those?
