Hi ,
I finished my internship in the year 2004 and I was awarded the degree in june 2005. Can any one in the same situation throw some answer to it.
Is 2004 is my year of graduation or 2005.

whatever the date on ur official degree is , consider that as that ur date of graduation

Hi
I called ecfmg office today , the lady said the the year I completed my internship is when iam graduated and not the year written on the diploma certificate.
I think what she means is the completion of my internship fulfills the requirement to get the degree so the year of internship is the year of graduation.
Any one in the similar situation pls share your ideas here.

u graduate 2004
u own ur degree on 2005
but what is the date of graduation on ur certificate??
i think it is the yr of finishing internship becuz unless u finish it u dont get degree isnt it?

hi yoga,
I finished my internship in 2004 and received my diploma certificate in 2005 . The date of issue was june 2005.
The ecfmg people says the year of completion of my internship is the year of graduation and not the year when it was issued.

Use 2005.. ECFMG can't be an expert in the specifics of each med school. If your diploma is dated 2005, then that's what it is.. it is to your advantage anyway...
